In this film, made by the filmaker Steve Mc Queen, Mickael Fassbender is a lonely New-Yorker & a sex-addict… He hates sweet and soft feelings.
His sister come to the Big apple and takes place in his home. It’s the beginning of a dark and cruel time and both will be destroyed by this short relationship.
This is a hard and realistic portrait of addicted people in a big city, where loneliness is terrifying and human relationships are wrong.
Fassbender is excellent in this cold and selfish character, and each morning he strolls his flat completely in the nude.
