HBO was anxious to get Luck out of the gate but the prior of the new series showed last week on US TV has been congratulated by everyone. The series will be on TV early next year. Dustin Hoffman and Nick Nolte star in the show, which centers on the world of horse racing — the owners, gamblers, jockeys and gaming industry players. The cast also includes Dennis Farina, John Ortiz, Richard Kind, Ian Hart, Kevin Dunn, Ritchie Coster, Jason Gedrick, Jill Hennessy, Tom Payne and Kerry Condon.
