Ahead of its official debut at Colette in Paris on May 1, The Horizon by Kaws watch from IKEDPOD is based on the IKEPOD Horizon designer by Marc Newson.
This special edition high-end watch was designed to integrate the New York based well-known pop artist’s signature aesthetic. KAWS’ real name is Brian Donnelly, and is best known for his cartoonish art and toys. Highly successful, this project projects KAWS into the world of high-end watches.
The video shows cameras entering the IKEPOD factory where the viewer is treated to the precise, and at times whimsical aspect that goes into making watches. Serving as a teaser for the unveiling in Paris, the four different chronographs offered are surely going to fly off the shelves.
